Robin Wilde@robinwilde.me · 6d agoI actually know the answer to this and it's slightly insane. Google pulls from Wikipedia to determine if a place is a city, town, neighbourhood, whatever. Brighton's first line describes it as a "seaside resort" so Google Maps thinks it's a neighbourhood and doesn't display it in the "city" font.
I keep thinking things will die down soon but we are zooming up that Pocketcast chart. Now number 34! Of all the podcasts that exist??? How is this reality???

Completely adapted to managing my home environment, working out when to keep the windows closed to keep the heat out, and when to open up the doors and windows to welcome in the cooling evening/overnight breeze
I don’t mean this in an inspiration porn way btw. I mean it in a “look what we can achieve when we take ableism & structural barriers out of the picture”. We were able to do this because our community funded it. We were able to do it in the way we did it because we had the right supports.
