I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

Yeah, the reluctance of establishment Dems to try anything different really fucking sucks. I used to think Dems had to be as ruthless as the GOP, but I think it’s less about adopting a “fuck you, righties” attitude and more about focus and commitment. Pick an issue (taxing the rich) and GO FOR IT.
