The current generation of LLMs are quite good for proofreading. They routinely catch typos in things that I'm working on, and they're especially useful as a final pass if you've edited something and read it several times already, so it's difficult to give it a fresh read with keen eyes.

I encourage folks to look at a graph of the cost of flying, adjusted for inflation, over the past 40 years or so.
