AMERICANS: pop quiz. NO GOOGLING. How long is a Canadian federal election campaign period? Primary and general. Hint: It’s a range
The American political process is exhausting. Do you have any idea how much free time Canadians have to think about other things because we aren't holding elections constantly?
The really funny thing here is Bluesky did this exact discourse like four months ago.
for reasons that only make sense if you're insane, a TPUSA kid complaining about burrito costs on xitter has the GOP's biggest divas going for each other's throats.
Somehow things that would have been a background gag in a Verhoeven movie are now just real

I wonder if Canada is big enough to support and Aaron Rupar-style clipper. Seems like an unfilled niche.
The current generation of LLMs are quite good for proofreading. They routinely catch typos in things that I'm working on, and they're especially useful as a final pass if you've edited something and read it several times already, so it's difficult to give it a fresh read with keen eyes.

Trinity and Morpheus could never get around The Matrix now, due to the disappearance of payphones in the urban landscape.
it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy
I don't know if Bluesky is a liberal bubble, but the real knock on Bluesky is that it's a place where a bunch of easy marks for rage bait get really worked up about some bullshit 3-5 times per week, and none of it ever really amounts to anything.
Yeah, sorry, but some folks on here just got straight-up outrage farmed by the Verge. This is fine!
Good lord I wish some of you could read on this text based social media website.
