Hey, you know something? Dragons are the perfect metaphor for autistic people like myself because just like them, they don’t really conform to society all that well in that they’re mythological creatures that don’t really comply with the rules of biology.

The best thing for a dragon to have is someone he can be himself around. Someone who doesn’t get tired of hearing about the things he hoards, who doesn’t expect him to suppress his draconic sized emotions, who can hold his hand if things get overwhelming, and can truly appreciate him, fangs and all.

I love mailing postcards. No matter how much technology improves, I will never cease to be amazed by how you can send a physical object anywhere in the world and all you have to do is put a stamp on it and stick it in the mailbox.

My furry awakening was seeing an HO scale boxcar with Rocky on it on EBay, developing a crush (though I didn’t realize that’s what it was at the time) and asking for it for Christmas. Unfortunately I got a generic GN boxcar, but I later found the one I wanted at the I Love Toy Trains store. I was 13
