With all these new Deviant Art private message and unverified account scams going around now, it made me want to revisit these two drawings from 2010 and 2013 reacting to watchbots and dA point giveaway scams. Maybe I should make some sort of sequel addressing the newer scams.

Little vent comic. Having autism means that people will laugh at your every move and you have no idea why. It’s hard to keep your fire to yourself when it seems you’re constantly screwing up. Thinking of making this a series? Like a modern @everetttrue.bsky.social type thing about autism struggles.

It’s because that’s how I want people to see me. Dragons are great and I love being one, but people don’t understand us. So I choose to be a duck. (It’s a metaphor for autistic masking)

I think I’m getting ahead of myself here. I want to come up with drawing ideas for Lena’s brother Reid, who has only been mentioned in the actual comic once and not even by name. And he’s never appeared in person (in fox?) either. But yeah. This is an official Reid post. Filmmaker fox guy. :)
