The Front Endpaper of ‘The Bone Shard Emperor’ by Andrea Stewart 💙 (3/6) Book 2’s endpapers were the most fun of the six! I loved painting the intricate details and flow of all the characters/creatures here 💛

My front endpaper for The Bone Shard Emperor by Andrea Stewart. Phalue and Tythus are back-to-back in a fighting stance. They’re both holding up their swords against two giant constructs (one is a tiger with a leopard tail, the other is a wild cat with a wolf tail) who are menacingly circling them, creating a circular frame composition.
