My Cover Artwork for ‘The Trial of Magdalena Overmorrow’ by Caitríona Moran. Magdalena in a beautiful, medieval style dress and lace veil, standing determined and calm behind a gothic window. The decorative window is beautiful but also imprisons her, as she awaits her trial date and her possible impending execution.

I used a lot more acrylic inks on this one, letting the inks pour and run across the paper and then painting over the top of them once they dried. I really like the effect! "All That Will Grow" Watercolor, acrylic ink, gouache, and color pencils.

In the midst of a great battle, a heavenly knight and a hell knight embrace as both enemies and as lovers. They hold each other as they both bleed from a single spear that’s pierced them through their hearts. A beautiful but also tragic scene as they perish together in one last embrace.
