🐦❣️REMINDER!❣️🐦 Grant applications open this Saturday, July 25th! We've put together a little FAQ. Any other questions can be asked in the comments, or you can reach out to a member of leadership privately! 💖

What grants are available right now? Grants are offered as we receive funding, please check back often for details. The current grant disbursement ending on Aug 8th gives out 4 $250 Storm Crow grants. Who are these grants available to? Grants are offered to those marginalized on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and/or disability who are 18 years of age or older. You do not need to be based in the US, although there may be additional tax reporting requirements for those outside the US.How are grant recipients chosen? Grants are chosen via a random lottery, all applicants have an equal chance to receive the funds. There is no merit basis or essay question for the Storm Crow grants. What is the grant money for? Grants are for making networking opportunities in the MTG space more accessible to marginalized members of our community. We hope the funds are used to support your professional development or Magic organizing! Our grants are not intended for everyday spending like groceries or rent assistance.

These grants make valuable networking opportunities more accessible. What are they for? It was packed with awesome artists women and the event itself was truly well received, my sincerest wishes was that I was able to significantly touch their hearts and help them achieve their artists goals. Then, when Anh reached out to me with this subject I felt that this was a match made in heaven since I was working on this card as I was writing my talking points for the event. This project has the initiative to support Global Fund for Women, so how could I refuse it! Anything turns more exciting when it matches making art with a good purpose.” – Caroline Gariba.
