Grateful to have this little poem (and one other) in Waltz today, in the company of other poets whose work I love.

Grateful, as always, to have a book review in Plume--this time of @kathyfagan.bsky.social's latest beauty, The Unbecoming. (Link in first comment.)
Thank you to the lovelies at Painted Bride Quarterly for making a spot for two of my poems in the latest issue (link to the whole thing in comments). Here's one:
I'm so full of gratitude to Emily Updegraff & Great Lakes Review for making space for this interview about Oddest & Oldest & Saddest & Best (see first link). And here's a photo of a small treasure from this weekend, which I spent near Lake Michigan:
Update: We pushed publication to Feb. 2027. While you wait, I recommend the new books from @ralpheeboi.bsky.social, @pochoboymeetsworld.bsky.social, @janezwart.bsky.social, @clairemtaylor.com, @mrdecember.bsky.social, and soooo many more but those 5 are in a stack right in front of me.
Good news in the sh*%storm: I have a new poetry collection coming later this year! Beginning to Sense, @matchfactoryeds.bsky.social, October 2026. (That's not the cover. I just mocked up a title page for this announcement.)
Next to my favorite reading chair this week: Severalty by Laura Da’ and Oddest & Oldest & Saddest & Best by Jane Zwart. These gorgeous collections concern different kinds of grief in wildly, powerfully metamorphic language. @janezwart.bsky.social

I think Ecotone is a beauty, which makes having this poem featured there all the sweeter. 🌖

Overwhelmed with gratitude for @wjherbertpoet.bsky.social, who asked me such brilliant, generous questions about my poems for this interview in @amsterdamreview.bsky.social. Grateful to the editors there for publishing it, and for giving a couple of my poems their first homes, too. Link in comments.
Hey writing kin, I'm mailing out a short stack of signed Oddest & Oldest & Saddest & Bests on Friday. If you'd like one (and live in the states), I'd be honored to join your library. Message me? $22 (covers shipping, Venmo or PayPal)
Here, quick before day 1 ends, let's share one by @janezwart.bsky.social whose new book Oddest & Oldest & Saddest & Best is utterly incredible. I also love basketball (as you may have noticed), so here's a Jane hoops poem.
As day 1 of Poetry Month draws to a merciful close, I decided I'll share 30 poems on here that I've liked recently and also to write 30 new ones. Not one a day in either category because I'm on spring break & a li'l tipsy after hooping & getting some good news (cheers, eh), but sure, over the month.
It's not quite Easter, but we're getting there. So with gratitude to the folks at @christiancentury.bsky.social, here's a little psalm.
