The Toocheke dev has released an option to pull a tapas site into a wordpress website using their plugin. Wordpress isn't the only option when it comes to websites, but this feature should make it a lot easier for people to make the switch to a website if they want.
Toocheke@toocheke.com · 3w agoIf you're a Tapas creator thinking about where your comics go next, I have built a free tool that imports your whole series — episodes, images, thumbnails, publish dates — straight into WordPress. leetoo.net/import-your-... #webcomics
Do I know any artists who do beautiful wall hangings/tapestries? Particularly narrower width and long length? Would love recommendations for wall hangings by indie artists (NO AI).
HEY WEBCOMIC READERS! I bring you a hot tip from the far past of ye olden time webcomic readings! Webcomic corps hate you too, and your reading library could vanish tomorrow (like Tapas will at some point this year) Build your own list! If ppl don't self host, bookmark where they DO post!
🌿Elaine Tipping🍃@triaelf9.bsky.social · 3w agoUntil then, a hot tip from the 90's: Build a bookmark list called "webcomics" Order them by when they update in the week (drag and drop) Read down the list thru week. Add to the list as you find new comics. Can confirm, as a person who struggles with exective disfunction, this is easiest way XD

I have such an angry memory in my rewatch of the xmen cartoon as an adult, of Wolverine going to free a group of people from being tied down with a rope, claws out, and breaking the rope with his hands instead.
John Leavitt@leavittalone.bsky.social · last mo.A while back someone posted that they knew someone who wrote for the legend of Zelda cartoon and they had to tie themselves in knots to not show any cutting/slashing with the sword

Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.
derek guy@dieworkwear.bsky.social · 3mo agoA friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?
Comics are so crazy because you'll work on something for like four years and then it comes out and you're like "hello here is my comic book". Anyway here is my comic book

So Greg Bovino of bad nazi cosplay fame is going to be IN MY CITY this Saturday (Aug 1st) for a Mass Deportation Rally. There's a Hoosier Hospitality March to counter it from 3-6pm where we march to Al Huda mosque to donate to their food pantry, and then a vigil for those DHS/ICE has killed- 1/3

I really like this kind of quiet four page scene of Malone having feelings. It's nice to just exist with them for a little bit. And the reason that I made my bone brush was for these four pages! Success! allroseshavethorns.com #arht #webcomic
