Every Democrat in Congress whose website I've looked at has a link for constituent services. If you call out of hours and you get their voicemail you probably get a prompt for it in the phone tree. That's exactly what that's about.

Have dedicated staff at their offices to help people navigate Medicaid or getting their paperwork for voting or getting food assistance. Is it illegal?

This week I was talking to colleagues about how I wash my feet and calves before I get into bed (if I can’t shower) and found out they don’t. For my peace of mind I’m gonna assume they are never outside???? Because bed sheets aren’t supposed to wear the outside!

Last night at @burnsfilmcenter.bsky.social, we watched CHRISTINE, the film starring Rebecca Hall (as a reporter who suicided on live TV in the early 70s) followed by a Q&A with writer Craig Shilowich, director Antonio Campos, Hall, and costar Tracy Letts. It’s such a pleasure that the Burns exists!

I spent an hour and a half tonight watching videos of talented people who started off their careers in reality competitions. Susan Boyle’s audition STILL makes me tear up. And Nightbirde always breaks my heart. And why did the fuckers make Britney lose her real voice (we know why).
I briefly dated a Haitian-American during Covid and he was one of the biggest supporters of the United States I’d ever met. He also knew more about the history of the USA than almost anyone I’ve ever met, including educators. I often wonder what he thinks now.
Perhaps, we need to ask if Andrew Cuomo was always colluding with the right even before last year.

This is one of those things that EVERYONE knew was happening, but it didn't get reported on as actually happening until far too late for it to have any impact. The venal pettiness of this administration is now in the water all around us, and is unmitigable.
