Does anyone consistently use Boost Blue and another 3rd party app? If so, which one?
If you haven't yet, I highly recommend watching/listening to this interview with @toni.bsky.team about where both Bluesky and the wider Atmosphere are heading. Lots of good stuff in there. The key: empowering everyone to do more *if* they want to. youtu.be/F219IizDOnQ?...

Trend I wish would die: Everyone naming the basic AI chat feature they added to their app.
Out of all the cataclysms we suffer, pandemics alone deny us our most important coping mechanism: each other. To gather, to seek comfort in each other's company, becomes deadly--a vector of the disaster, rather than shelter from it. And yes, that very obviously fucks with you.
Pre-Covid, I always thought the 1918 flu memories were just overshadowed by WWI. But now, it’s clearly something about pandemics that just do things to collective memory. I don’t know whether this is unique to modernity but it‘s clear that humans react differently to this type of trauma.

Incredible podcasts from @techdirt.com interviewing @ericries.bsky.social:
How To Stop Good Companies From Going Bad — Techdirt
The concept of “enshittification” has helped illuminate why companies and their products so often get worse over time, but the causes of this process are complex and multifaceted. In his new book Incorruptible, author Eric Ries presents a related but contrasting take on how good companies go bad, and how to build companies that resist the process. This week, Eric joins the podcast to talk all about the book and what we might be able to do to solve this problem. Get the book: https://www.incorruptible.co/

I'm thrilled to announce the first draft of the Mistborn screenplay is DONE! Just in time to celebrate the book's original publication, twenty years ago this month. Do please remember that this is just an early step in a very long process, but I'm terribly excited by how it turned out!

Execs always believed growth was held back by development time. In reality, it's (in large part) held back by building the wrong things. With faster development, teams can deliver more wrong things than ever! But metrics aren't improving, so the solution must be even more productivity.
