For those who may know me on MeWe, I can no longer log into MeWe without age verification, and I do not trust MeWe's age verification system. I took a chance on Bluesky's age verification, but MeWe's is too intrusive. So I'm done with MeWe.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social · 2w agoThis is how our government has been corrupted: 1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office 2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor 3) Donors make huge profit 4) Repeat We must get big money out of politics. It is the root of our dysfunction.
and, of note, the domestic oil industry's costs have not changed, so this is all profit.
