We are saddened to share that we lost a luminary in our field yesterday. Dr. Steven Maier died suddenly with the love of his life, Linda Watkins, at his side. Dr. Maier was one of the founders and intellectual giants of our society. He was funny, creative, brilliant, and kind.

Sad to share the news that Steve Maier died yesterday. In addition to their many scientific contributions, Steve & Linda created a lab that mentored dozens of professors, policy makers and industry leaders.
