This is morally monstrous behavior. These are ordinary, innocent people that Trump is condemning to suffering & death out of political vindictiveness. Every decent human being, regardless of political party, should condemn it. Where is the fucking *anger*? From the press? From civic leaders? Pols?

FEMA said yes to Democratic disaster requests. Trump killed them anyway.

President Donald Trump cast aside bipartisan precedent when he rejected eligible disaster requests from four blue states.

Donald Trump is deranged. He must be impeached and removed from office. Republicans who don’t stop him will have blood on their hands, and anyone who carries out an order to bomb civilian targets will be complicit in war crimes and will be held accountable.

Trump: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will … We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end”

Trump: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”

Alex Pretti was already restrained when federal agents shot and killed him in Minneapolis, a New York Times analysis of video shows. The footage contradicts the Department of Homeland Security’s account of the shooting.

Timeline: How the Shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti Unfolded

A moment-by-moment analysis of video from the scene shows that Mr. Pretti was already restrained when fatal shots were fired, which appears to contradict the federal government’s account of the event.

Bovino said on live TV that the “suspect approached law enforcement with a loaded 9mm.” The video from the woman in the pink jacket clearly shows that is a lie. A 37yo white male VA nurse was murdered. And his family should call for murder charges and sue Bovino for millions.

I think it's good to keep getting mad about evil and unjust things, if only to remind yourself and everyone else that these things are in fact evil and unjust. I don't think it's naive. Nor is it wise and sophisticated to adopt a "You fool, nothing matters and nothing good can ever happen" posture

Democrats can and must make it clear there will be trials and anyone even somewhat associated with ICE will face them. Maybe give a quit-your-job deadline on appeasement and give people 72 hours. I don't know. But currently the plan is to let them murder us in the street and get away with it.

This is something where a) it would be really useful to get a traditional media source to provide credible confirmation, and b) to treat this as a major story. Because if it is real, we are looking at a new level of state propaganda, and if there is no pushback they will do it again.

Dean Martin, born Dino Paul Crocetti, son of Italian immigrant Gaetano Crocetti Frank Sinatra, son of Italian immigrants Antonino Sinatra and Natalina Garavanta Merry Christmas to everyone except Stephen Miller and his enablers and handlers

Watched the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra Family Christmas with my kids.
Imagine watching that and thinking America needed infinity migrants from the third world.

Yup. I'm telling y'all, these dudes don't know anything.🤡 Frank Sinatra was a vocal anti-racist. He fought racism with his actions, his words, and his money. Actions: Refused to stay at segregated hotels. Made sure Black artists got paid fairly. Words: Literally wrote an article in Ebony Magazine

Article excerpt from Ebony Magazine July 1958 article "The Way I Look at Race" by Frank Sinatra.

'A friend to me has no race, no class and belongs to no minority. My friendships were formed out of affection, mutual respect and a feeling of having something strong in common. These are eternal values that cannot be racially classified. This is the way I look at race.

Some of my friendships have given rise to some strange, quite cock-eyed notions about me and the way I think. Because some of my good friends happen to be black, it has been suggested that I have a preference for black people, that I 'like" them. The fact is that I don't "like" black people any more than I "like" Jews or Muslims or Italians or any other group. I don't like according to the color of a man's skin or his place of worship. And I have never picked a friend because of nationality. I simply like people, a lot of them, and my personal relationships are not determined by the boundaries of a country or what society thinks. of certain kinds of human beings.

I'd personally like to see more friendships forged across color and religious lines, for I feel this is the surest way to erase all lines that divide people everywhere. The world is suffering from a shortage of love, between nations and Individuals, and something drastic and dramatic is needed to meet this hunger.'Cover of Ebony Magazine from July 1958. okay lol I just checked and I kid you not this is literally the cover of my own copy of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense. Note: This was published in 2012, more than a decade ago. This was just the iconography the publisher felt best expressed Paine’s views.

A copy of Common Sense that features an image of a crown with an X over it, similar to the No Longs protest iconography.

Relatedly: Common Sense is a wild read, man. High recommend picking it up ahead of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. declaring independence.* *Unless you ascribe to the Mecklenburg Declaration claim, in which case this past May marked 250 years since colonists began declaring independence

Just gonna keep tapping the sign* *𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

Imagine assigning 1000 people to this because you’re just sure it’s gonna be the smoking gun to vanquish your enemies, and then afterwards being like “nope nothing to report at all.” Imagine what you must have found to prompt that reaction.

Take as an example Dick Durbin's letter revealing that Bondi assigned ONE THOUSAND people to review Epstein files, working 24-hour shifts. This is devastating whistleblower testimony. James Comer builds years long campaigns off less. www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

According to information my office received, *you then pressured the FBI to put
approximately 1,000 personnel* in its Information Management Division (IMD), including the
Record/Information Dissemination Section (RIDS), which handles all requests submitted by the
public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act, *on 24-hour shifts to
review approximately 100,000 Epstein-related records in order to produce more documents that
could then be released on an arbitrarily short deadline. This effort, which reportedly took place
from March 14 through the end of March,* was haphazardly supplemented by hundreds of FBI
New York Field Office personnel, many of whom lacked the expertise to identify statutorilyprotected information regarding child victims and child witnesses or properly handle FOIA
requests.
*My office was told that these personnel were instructed to “flag” any records in which
President Trump was mentioned.* Notably, in 2002, Mr. Trump said of Mr. Epstein, “I’ve known
Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy, He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful
women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”7
Just yesterday, it was
reported that the Department previously reviewed a “leather-bound album” comprised of dozens
of letters from Mr. Epstein’s friends in celebration of his 50th birthday in 2003.8
 The letters were
collected by Mr. Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell and included one from President Trump
that allegedly “contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman,
which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker … and the future president’s signature is a
squiggly ‘Donald’ below her waist.”9
