Keep talking about the reflecting pool, and the Epstein files, and the self-dealing, and the corruption, and the incompetence, and the waste and theft of taxpayer dollars. It's all still relevant and important and of course grossly abnormal.

I see a few people saying “stop talking about the algae, there are bigger deals” and yeah sure, but the fact that the White House *thinks* the Reflecting Pool is a bigger deal than war or the economy makes it a big deal—and it is both metaphor AND embodiment of our whole squalid government now 👇

Like a dung beetle’s ball rolling down a hill, the reflecting pool keeps picking up more layers. Incompetence, antiscience, corrupt contracting, and now now the self-protective police state and sabotage conspiracy theories.

There are people all across Belfast helping relocate people, get them food, clothes, meds and more. You will likely never hear about them on the news. But they are many. And *they* are Belfast.

When you see trans women being banned from co-ed competitions like darts, billiard, and chess—where even if we did have more muscle in defiance of all natural laws—you start to realize that these bans aren't about "fairness." They're about never allowing undesirables to be celebrated.

I’m so frustrated that I have to argue 20th century philosophy about whether machines are people and 18th century science about whether germs are real and fucking 15th century colonial bullshit about whether people are human beings.
