I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

The planet is literally on fire. Every year the fire seasons get worse, the fires get larger and more intense. The change is accelerating. This is more than just and environmental or even economic problem. It’s a moral one. People WILL suffer and die. We can make a difference. To ignore it is a sin.

Streaming services just keep finding new ways to extort us. Want to have no ads? Pay us. OK, want HD or 4K too? Pay us more. And if you “buy” a digital copy you don’t really own it. I think a return to physical media and video rental stores is the only way forward. All hail the 4K BluRay.
