The real reason game companies are trying to move away from true physical releases is to prevent you from ripping the files off the disk/cart for emulation. This generation of games will be the hardest to preserve.

The only new consoles I'm planning to buy are emulation handhelds and maybe the Game Tank simply because the concept of an open source console pleases me deeply.
I drank a little of an Arizona tea today that was Very Spoiled and immediately threw up. I popped my meds in my mouth, took a big gulp and swallowed before I even tasted it and THEN realized how bad my mouth tasted. I'm never buying Arizona again, that shit was chunky when I dumped it out.

"The game should be free if it's shorter than 2 hours" No, devs deserve to earn money for their work still. If a short time means free, then the movie industry is screwed. "There's no point in releasing a game if it's under 2 hours" There's plenty of reasons, and they can still be fun to play.
My dream streaming set up is actually kind of stupid? It's like... A dual PC set up but with my steam deck as one of the PCs. I'm close to being able to do it, I just need a few more things and then I can give my set up a little more breathing space, you know?
Everything going on in gaming sucks. However, it's nice to see the console wars basically evaporate overnight because gamers are finally realizing that all of these companies are soulless trash, and are trying to extract every dollar you have. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo aren't your friends.
