It does worry me a little sometimes, that I am all over the place in terms of genre. It not what is usually recommended for an author. Sci-fi, fantasy, contemporary, satire, historical, thriller; it seems like a lot. But the truth is that my real genre is 🌺Lesbians🌺 (That's also who I write for)

mady castigan✨ 🏳️⚧️@mady.cat · 6d agoIn my humble brown opinion, the trans rights movement urgently needs to draw from decolonial movements which have successfully toppled entire regimes by creating radical organizations that encourage and publicize targeted boycotts of specific companies that fund and enable genocide.
Yeah, same here. I'm not going to stop using em dashes, or, like, sentences. I will not introduce deliberate mistakes (I make enough anyway). I'm not going to participate in any snake-oil 'human certification' schemes. AI is like eating broken glass: it's not something tempting I have to resist.

Authors and journalists are doing more first-person (hello 2010s blogging) and embracing "mistakes" in writing to prove they're not chatbots. There's even an “anti-Grammarly" app that leaves in typos and signs off "sent from my iPhone" to create more authenticity: www.wired.com/story/more-t...
