babs ✨@itsbabs.bsky.social · 3w agoi cannot implore you enough to use respiratory protection that *really works* for what you’re facing. yes, the best mask is the mask you’ll wear, but when conditions are this bad, know that not all tools are created equal. if you can access something better and are able to wear it, it’s worth it.

Owners of buildings, period, should be required to provide cooling systems capable of maintaining 78 degrees or lower. Employers should be legally required to allow work from home during extreme heat. Your employer should not be allowed to make you work in extreme heat.
