Shelters nationwide are overflowing. I know budgets are tight right now ... but if you can, please adopt a shelter dog. Some of them might have a little baggage from previous mistreatment, but the love and gratitude you'll get from an orphaned dog is beyond amazing. It'll feed your soul.

Humans are baffling. They do unimaginable hurt to each other and the environment, most of the time rather thoughtlessly. But the majority will cry over a poignant insurance commercial and sing to their pets. I love people so much but lately I feel continually let down that we let the worst rule us

Society is in a free fall because anything goes. Sports betting. Betting on ANYTHING. Stores, credit cards, streaming services - all want your personal information, you can’t look up something without getting 200 ads popping up for crap you don’t want. Robo-calls. Do-not-call registries do zero.
People are quicker to question what goes into making a vegan cheese than they are to question what a dairy cow goes through to make 'regular' cheese.
