maybe it's just my stodgy engineer brain but the "agentic coding" workflow largely comes across as trying to build a house by hiring one contractor per room and assuming it'll just work out in the end because it's just a house and how complex can it be

the programmers most fixated on LLM coding are the ones addicted to the feeling of productivity it gives them, with the flood of commits and tests and charts and reports it spews out, and they are so enamored by the volume of output that they rationalize away the fact that almost all of it sucks
