It’s out! There are so many fun back stories with this project’s origin story & how it reshaped my career trajectory. For now, plz welcome my lab’s culture collection of #Symbiodiniaceae associated bacteria! & the many siderophores they produce! 🧪 doi.org/10.1093/fems...

Goff Lab posters are out at #ASMicrobe today! At 12:30 in the Health area, Isaac presents a poster on microplastic microbiomes (#287). At 3, Linda and Khulan will share how we have been studying tellurium speciation in microbial cultures in the AEM area (#629).

Since 1899, we’ve been known as the American Society for Microbiology, or ASM. We will now be known simply as ASM. We’re introducing a new brand identity that better reflects who we are, where we are headed and what drives us. Explore now: asm.social/2XF ASM. Microbes Make Our World.

On LinkedIn, I noticed that the artist formerly known as the American Society for Microbiology didn’t switch to just “ASM”. But then I considered that maybe they’re trying to not be lost among all the other ASMs.
