It is 2006. I am 22. The US is mired in a costly Forever War. A predictable historic market collapse looms. I do not have health insurance. It is 2026. I am 42. The US is mired in a costly Forever War. A predictable historic market collapse looms. I do not have health insurance.

I found reel to reel tapes in my parent's things. I'd like to have them digitalized so I can hear them and share with family. However I don't want the data stolen/used for AI/used in unauthorized research. Can anyone recommend someone who can do that?

May I point out that both El-Sayed and Stevens are Millennials. Generational shift. It's here. It's time. November up here won't just be about progressivism vs. fascism. It will also be about the future vs. the past.

Made it to the tundra to go berry picking! This was about 9pm, for those wondering abt the Arctic sun. We were out for over an hour, even though it felt like minutes. With my recovering calf, my kid and I only picked about half a gallon, but hey, that's more than we had before we started!

Two people pick berries on tundra under mostly cloudy skies. The tundra is a mix of berry plants, cotton, grass, and other medicines. The land here is very flat with a lake just behind the two pickers

When going through my parent's things, I found 36 year old letters of rec for college scholarships. I sent messages to the writers to say thank you for the support & how it contributed to my success. Just got a response from one of the letter writers saying thank you and he's proud of me 😭
