For my most recent paper, there are Stata and R packages to calculate a suite of robustness statistics. The statistics are calculated from B bootstrap estimates of the relevant parameters, where B is the number of bootstrap samples, chosen such that (B+1)\alpha is an integer.

and the adventure into the land or bricks and no mortar has ended. It was rewarding. and as always, I’m in awe of the designers. there is much we can learn from how they tackle the problem and the solutions the create. But perhaps more in that later. For now, here it is.

I think Refine is a very good tool. It has helped me a lot in the research process. I use it often and have a monthly subscription. But this is problematic. If I want to submit to the AEA or Econometric Society journals, I would feel compelled to check with Refine first.
