However, the pseudo-scholarly will only be maximally outraged by inclusion of a terminal preposition that they find it impossible to agree with.

Joel S.@joelhs.bsky.social · 5h agoBen Shapiro probably does not know enough history to even know this, but the way he is talking about Muslims as a nation within the nation who can never be integrated is almost verbatim what European nationalists said about Jews in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Bluesky does not have the same proportion of antisemitism as Twitter, do not be ridiculous, I am quite qualified to judge this roughly at least

It's bad that the president declared war on the west coast and NYT reporters can't be bothered to cover it.

There is a substantial chunk of the electorate that thinks of themselves as Republicans, that still tends to vote Republican, but wants Republicans to win fair and square. They like GOP policies, but they also like democracy. (And yes, that's a contradiction. Voters are vast.)
There are plenty of smart people that vote straight ticket Republican.

Which is not to say it was better for them to lose, only that stakes are high.
