Two takeaways from this. Dragons much improved, unexpected Euro cup run but still worst team in Wales. They had opportunities to buck the trend but failed to take them. Scarlets had the biggest drop off out of the Welsh sides. To go from play-offs last season to 14th is very poor for them.

Undoubtedly the best and funniest moment from last night’s Welsh Leaders Debate.
The WRU know what they want and where they want to go. Problem is they haven’t got a clue how to get there. They’ve seriously underestimated how difficult cutting a team is going to be, so it’s back to the drawing board for yet another ‘plan’ and more uncertainty further down the line.
