i think a lot of well-meaning people fall into a rhetorical trap where they take the bait and argue about male vs. female performance in sports rather than arguing for the value and dignity of women’s athletics generally. don’t let yourself be dragged into a bad faith framing.

Welp, pretty sure I didn’t get the job I really wanted, as I haven’t heard anything from them in the past two weeks (since the second interview), and I know they planned to have a third interview and tie things up by the end of the month. Sigh. Job searching is demoralizing.
