Flailing Bandage

Not the actual Joelinton (but if the big man ever makes it onto this platform the handle is his)

I keep reading that 'nobody should be forced to pay for the BBC'. Meanwhile, I'm forced to pay for the royal family, nuclear weapons, religiously-affiliated schools and the House of Lords.

Jealous of everyone going to the match today. Glorious weather, friends/family meeting up, excited atmosphere in pubs, familiar faces in nearby seats, paying tribute to one of our legends, good opposition, exciting new players to cheer, villain to jeer. Hope the football lives up to it! #HWTL #NUFC

The one thing that I paid particular attention to in tonight's #nufc match was the aftermath of the Elanga challenge. Thiaw ran from centre back, Osula sprinted in but the only only who got pushy was Ramsey. Selling our remaining senior CM's right now seems premature to me.

I don’t know where I got this video, so sorry I can’t credit the creator. YouTube wouldn’t let me use it so had to split it to post here. If we’re on #NUFC Ver 2.0 this is a nice reminder of Ver 1.0 in that first full season with EH. Been a difficult few weeks for Toon fans. Onwards and upwards.

Do you know what the core of the business is? Football? Haha, no it's marketing. Is this about you changing the badge? We like to get an informed view about how everyone wants the brand to move forward. I don't give a shit. The badge has'nt been permanent in our history. Carry the fuck on.

One side effect of the #2026WC for me is that it highlights my worry for the future of music. I know it's the US, but anecdotally the Hydration Break, HT, etc music seems to be Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, GunsnRoses, etc. Streaming algorithms seem to have stymied any musical talent from the last 30 yrs!

The #nufc strip reminds me about my past failed relationships. I really liked you when we first met and fell in love quickly. Maybe I got too comfortable with you over the years and didn't fully appreciate the subtle changes. But just recently, every time I see you I feel like something is wrong.

I've had a day of going through family stuff... and yes, I did go to that Monaco game. And yes, that is Mirandinha's signature. #nufc PS. I loved that pic of Mira with the Gallowgate/Brewery in the background as soon as I saw it and I love it more now!

Two NUFC programs from the 1980's. The first vs AS Monaco in 1988, the second vs Blackpool in 1987.

Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power
