I genuinely believe it was this book with that big creepy face on the shield. Only, if memory serves, it was just the spine of the book, which I can't find a picture of, but which had four of that face on it. I was a toddler and didn't even like walking past the bookshelf where it sat.

The problem isnโt that two aircraft were shot down. The problem is that we arenโt psychologically or politically prepared to suffer any losses, because this entire war has been sold as a video game set on โeasyโ and not as a cause worth sacrifice.
This "Funniest Tweet Ever" trend has become a complete shitshow on Bluesky. I'm sorry, but "dust my wets" and "jealousy professor" (??) aren't even in the top 1,000 tweets. At least twitter provided plausible answers when this question came up.
This isnโt the sort of thing that can be smoothed over at the next conference. I do not want to interact with these people again.
The fact that Trump is going to oral arguments to pressure the justices to acquiesce to his attempted nullification of a constitutional amendment and create a stateless class for the first time since the civil war, illustrates what is really at the core of the Trump project and it isnโt tariffs.
I cannot stress enough how these are PTA moms and soccer coach dads and I can best describe the vibe as โfestively bloodthirstyโ
