macOS Tahoe reverses the Finder icon for the first time in decades, and I actually don’t *think* it’s something we’ll see changed back. It used to show someone looking at the Mac. The screen was blue, but now the person is, and it feels like a small but intentional shift in focus toward the user.

The new macOS Finder icon from macOS Tahoe. The blue and black faces are flipped compared to the classic version, with the blue now on the side representing the person instead of the screen.

Just published a recreation of Apple’s Liquid Glass style on the @figma.com Community! It’s fully editable and built using native Figma effects. Phew, I’ve got a lot to learn about this new style, but this was a really fun one to practice! 🤓 www.figma.com/community/fi...

We've brought our #watchOS #UIKit to @figma.com with everything you need for designing Apple Watch apps: Templates, controls, text and color styles, layout guides, and more The kit uses variables to make it super easy to preview your designs for 40mm, 42mm, 44mm, 46mm and 49mm Apple Watches.

I love my Apple Watch, and it might be one of my favorite devices, but lately I feel like I need some time away from it. The always-connected feeling is getting to me, and I’m trying super hard to create more separation in the mornings and evenings. Any favorite, inexpensive watch recommendations? ⌚︎

Phew, just extended my first contract-based offer for Baseline, and couldn’t be more excited to finally have a little help! 🎉 I’m already making the shared todo lists and it’s like, wow, delegating feels awesome.

I love design systems, but phew, design tokens used to *really* intimidate me. They vary by team and get complex fast! But after two years of working closely with engineers, I now see them as one of the best tools we have for bridging the gap between design & code and bringing teams together. 🎨🧑‍💻

Phew, hit a big milestone for my company today: my very first trademark is officially published! 🎉 It took six months from draft to publication, but it’s *finally* official!

If someone you work with is doing an amazing job, tell them! (And if it feels appropriate, let their manager know, too!) It really can go suuuch a long way.
