dudes in general, in the world at large, need to call this shit out. not doing so suggests approval at worst, ignorance or indifference at best. it's not a failing to want your world to be less shitty for people who are not you or your friends

It says more about Ben Templesmith blocking folks over sharing their dismay over Warren Ellis' return to comics than it does about anything actually being said. I hope his current publishing collaborators are paying attention and dare to ask "what's that about, man?"

I think about this all the time and fear A.I. is only accelerating this voluntary relinquishment of intellectual independence. It seems big tech really loves when people stop thinking for themselves.

Once on the old site I mentioned that I found some recent film sub par and someone said ‘oh wow, I had this on my watchlist but I’ll avoid it now.’ *Why?* You might watch it and decide I’m full of sh^t. You might love it!
