I think it's kind of messed up that big comics publishers have continued to reprint the works of men who have been extremely harmful to women and that I will face more professional repercussions for expressing that than they ever will because once upon a time they wrote popular characters' stories

I’m not embarrassed and defensive about liking comics with superheroes because it means I’m a nerd, I’m embarrassed and defensive about it because in 2025 the representation of creative teams that aren’t entirely male still may take another century to accomplish anything near equality in the market
