With Kimi K3, you can now run a near-frontier model at 0.6 tok/s on consumer hardware or at normal speeds for $300K of professional hardware. In practice, this is useless. However, it's a massive improvement over ~0 tok/s consumer or millions of dollars in professional hardware. More to come!

TezCon26 may be over, but the surge in community spirit is still very much alive. So much so that a date is already locked in for TezCon 2027. 👀 Here's a short recap from the main event, with more highlight reels and follow-up coverage on the way.

Especially on bsky, i think, there are a ton of people that seem to have no concept of true or false that is distinguishable from does this resonate with my ingroup or not. Seeing those in the replies talk about reasoning is..... entertaining.

starting to think this standard characterization is just false, not in a subtle way but in the bare and straightforward way “it‘s raining” is false when it’s not raining www.nytimes.com/2026/06/30/o...

These scary — OK, OK, funny — incidents aren’t the result of coding errors. They’re the result of an essential, inescapable fact about the artificial intelligence that has become so common in so many aspects of our daily lives: Large language models are not reasoning machines. They’re plausibility engines. It’s not just that they don’t test their outputs to make sure they’re correct or logical, or that they fail to do so in certain instances. They can’t, and they’ll never be able to on their own. They can only assess which answers are probable, based on the data on which the models have been trained. And that holds true whether they’re trained on the full breadth of human output or only on peer-reviewed scientific articles. It’s baked into the way they operate.

@leafplaza.eu just presented an official complain. Also, setup a whole chain of official follow ups on this complain. We know our rights, no other European ATP project has been giving the advantage W Social received and that goes against Commission Decision (EU) 2024/3083 - Art. 4.
