All these things can be true: 1) The U.S. gov (esp. Trump) intervening is and looks bad. 2) FIFA has a history of corruption and selectively applying rules. 3) Lack of transparency makes FIFA look worse. 4) Balogun’s red was given due to the ref misapplying VAR rules and should have been overturned.

Wish I could share an example of an AI-generated paper we receive all the time because they are *weird*. Mechanical manucripts that tick the boxes as academic content but really contribute nothing to knowledge. If AI has benefits for research, we're not seeing it. Just seeing shoddy autoscholarship.
