This is a good sign. What's encouraging is that humans aren't THAT stupid - we will push back sooner or later when things get too dehumanizing. So much is about the framing: personal AI computer assistant? Sure, maybe. "Friend"? Yeah how about no. And how dare you?

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced. Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

Played around with #kittenspaceagency modding last night, and of course started with a mod to receive SmoothTrack head tracking data and control the camera with it. It totally worked! 🤩 Very fun! #buildinpublic

Yep have successfully done this multiple times. ChatGPT's Deep Research does a WAY better job finding deal codes than I can manually with Google (and my Google Fu skills are not bad if I do say so myself).

This may be an expensive way to save money, but if you're paying for ChatGPT or Claude and not doing this, then you're just leaving money on the table. Works great for finding promo codes too.
