If one reads comics long enough, it’s easy to become inured to plot twists and cliffhangers, but this 2nd issue of Supergirl: Survive features a plot twist and cliffhanger that genuinely surprised me, and felt earned. Along with Sophie Campbell’s mainline Supergirl, the best book I read this month.

No disrespect to Charlie and Bill, but the rhythm section of Darryl Jones and Steve Jordan crushes it on this record, and to have two musicians of that caliber at this late stage of the game is a big part of why this album sounds so fresh and rocking
Undercover and Bridges to Babylon at the bottom is laughable. Out of Our Heads is top three.

The Stones could put out anything and I’d like it just because Mick and Keith are still with us, but they’ve done it again, another great record. Favorite track early on is Divine Intervention. Keith’s song is good, too.
