I was able to check in to the FreeDV 40m net tonight. It was at 8pm CST and on 7.182KHz. I was just using a 20W Xigu G90 and a lovely EFHW 60’ long wire hooked on a 20’ high tree branch. I’m still amazed that this technology works as well as it does. #amateurradio #hamradio #freedv

It’s been a few months since I flew an RC airplane. I’ve either been out of town or it’s been too windy or I’ve been too busy trying to make my house livable to put anything in the air. I really miss flying. I was always having fun flying even with I was crashing my planes.
