Great to see USL @rhodeislandfc.bsky.social will host the upcoming international friendly between Puerto Rica and Nicaragua on June 1st at the new Centerville Bank Stadium. Just prior to both teams kicking off their next round of World Cup Qualifiers.

This is a great move by USL and opens up a new revenue stream. All being well, we will see the same happen in the men's game soon.

Football continuing to follow the rule that Rugby has had in place for decades. The sooner this reaches all levels of the sport the better.

Used at the Euros last summer, and the Champions League and Bundesliga since then. IFAB likes the rule too, so we might see it spread farther.
Really not a surprise given the way USL has renamed their existing divisions over recent years and makes it more consumable and relatable to the audience that is also familiar with the structure in England (and Scotland).
