They’re running back Portrait of a Lady on Fire in one of my local cinemas and I’ve been dying to see it for a long time. Problem is I can’t see it because it’s too infused and tied to a recommendation from someone who I was badly, badly in love with. So I guess I’ll never watch it ever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I released Building A Village 3 months ago. You think I would stop promoting as such now? Honey, I’m not gonna stop shoving this in people’s faces. I’m going through a bit of a heartbreak and bad depression episode rn, but I’ll never not be proud of this and shout of it during a depressy eppy.

I made a 35-minute documentary short film called Building A Village that's now finally out. The film shows community group Clann&Co (née Derry Meet Ups) over the last two years and talks of the need and importance of community and connection in 2026. Watch it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mnD...

As much as I believe in the cinema going experience, especially as a communal experience, I’m starting to come around to the idea of why people prefer to wait to watch at home after seeing Supergirl. (Film was not great btw)

Say what you will about the BBC, their World Cup montages are pretty good. The one to Woodkid in 2014 was brilliant. They even had one either in 2010 or 2014 after the group games/middle of the knockouts set to a cover version of Beat It by Imogen Heap that was phenomenal. They’re so good.

If you haven't seen it yet, BBC's montage at the end of the World Cup was fucking tremendous www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Fi...
