Artist. I read a lot, and worry.

A Google user left a one-star review of the New Bedford Whaling Museum coining the phrase. Last fall, the museum began selling shirts and hoodies with the review on the back and a whale skeleton on the front. What the museum lacks in in live aquaculture, it makes up for in skeletons.

This is a good example of the fear that ICE has engendered in so many. A man here completely legally with nothing (on paper) to fear from ICE took off running when they showed up at a gas station and was struck by a passing truck. Awful.

If you’re looking for a freelance book editor for your project, hit up @wcboggess.bsky.social. When I finished the trilogy, I wanted to someone to read the books back to back, to check consistency, tone, vibe, thematic progression, all of it. William was really great, perceptive & insightful!

In April I published a book about Americans' centuries-long effort to come to terms with slavery's place in George Washington's legacy. I'm also taking on more writing and speaking gigs about history, museums, and how Americans are engage with the past. I could use your help spreading the word!

ICE desperately wants you not to care about this story But we must. The killing of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national striving for his American Dream, is a moral outrage, and a warning. ICE hopes you won't notice that mass deportation is back My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/ice-...

ICE killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. They want you to be apathetic. Don’t be. | Will Bunch

Salgado came from Mexico, built the American Dream, sent his sons to college, and was senselessly killed by ICE.

This is tragic - there are members of my family who fought along US soldiers during the Vietnam War. I can't imagine the betrayal and anger I would feel if my supposed ally sought to deport a loved one and killed them in the process. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

I am extremely disappointed that Attorney General Keith Ellison, who was just endorsed by the DFL, has still refused to sign this pledge. I am equally disappointed by Governor candidate Senator Amy Klobuchar's refusal to sign as well.

Today, @stargays.bsky.social and I are launching The Pledge for Trans Liberation. We are asking DFL candidates across the state to pledge to support trans Minnesotans in specific, meaningful ways in office. thepledgefortransliberation.org
