Then they keep us fighting with each other while they steal more.

Brendel@brendelbored.bsky.social · 3d agoIt’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

Eric Sipple@ericsipple.com · 4d agoIt is not a "rogue" AI. It is a computer program with instructions to pass hacking exams and not properly sandboxed when doing it. OpenAI trained it, and that training incentivized it to see cheating via hacking as the most expedient way to solve its tests.
With every single episode of the Spanish TV show 'La mesías' I am more and more blown away. Just finished episode three and it was just incredible. I don't think I've ever seen a show that feels so much like cinema. A masterpiece. Do not sleep on this show. It's on HULU right now.
Well I chose my favorite K titled horror movie for main post, but the thread after it, of other k titled horror films I lik,e has WAY better gifs.

A billion dollars is the socio-economic equivalent of a loose nuke, and we should work with the same urgency and ruthlessness to prevent the acquisition of the former as we do the latter.

That’s just 0.014 percent of his current $702 billion net worth. Oligarchs can rig the system at the expense of everyone else, and only spend pennies doing so. We must get Big Money out of politics.
No nation has a RIGHT to exist. People have rights. A nation is an organization. And organizations stand only as long as the means of control allow them to. This is the same rhetorical gymnastics that claim corporations are people, which is meant to, in fact, shield the organization from the law.
Profit scaling leads to catastrophe scaling. Musk junk slams into the moon. Billionaires will devalue everything that does not bring them wealth until they've killed us all and left nothing but galactic litter. He will go down in history as a villain.
