Looking back on another brilliant year of #schooltasking. It's been wonderful to see the impact this project has on the primary school pupils, teachers and university students involved 💌
Oh what fun we had at the #SchoolTasking West Regional Final at Kenilworth Castle! 🏰 Next stop for the winning team, Cov on Top, from Charter Academy (working with us at Warwick Law School) is the Champion of Champions in June with @alexhorne.bsky.social 🎉 🏆
Not sure if it's a parenting win or fail that I've successfully got my boys into Flight of the Conchordes but hearing my youngest quoting 'Leggy Blond' at bedtime definitely brings joy 😅
Falling off your scooter as an adult is embarrassing and hurts a lot 🤕 But being able to justify eating a white chocolate creme egg because of the pain balances it all out. (Grown up equivalent of a wet paper towel)

Before our #SchoolTasking students went into their schools we asked them to guess the most popular team name... and nobody got it right! Out of the 45 year 5 teams involved the most popular name was...chicken nuggets

Had the best fun doing the @taskmasteredu.bsky.social Christmas special session as a belated social with my youth group on Friday. Reckon Jan is the best time for something festive! Love that it's a one off session that you can just pick up and run with. Would recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (not biased at all 😂)

School Tasking@schooltasking.bsky.social · 7mo agoWe forced the enormous teddy bear out of storage, into Alex's car, into Alex's house (terrifying his dog), into my car, up the M40, back down to Alex's house, & back to the #Taskmaster House. So, after all that, the production team inevitably thought 'we should probably use this in a task'.

As well as being so proud of the work this project does, I'm also a little bit pleased with how much excel I've learnt this summer (it's like magic! 😅)
