Today I am feeling incandescent rage at the way successive governments have absolutely failed higher education in this country and are basically wilfully refusing to do anything about it even though universities are huge employers and economic drivers of so many cities across the country.

15 minutes; no questions; government got the blame; my department to have 60% of us sacked. Apparently sacking us will lead to a ‘new, improved’ curriculum. No voluntary scheme, straight to selection and legal minimum redundancy payment.
This book features a case study chapter on School Tasking, but not in terms of a shiny 'here's why the project is wonderful' pitch. Instead, it's an honest reflection on everything that has been difficult over 5 years (time, funding, engagement, data etc.) because maybe that's more useful...
