There are always new spectacular fictional universes created by talented people that are worth your time and also not funding an attempted genocide

I'm gay, but I love women's...sports. he/him
If any publishers are looking for a gay hockey book written by an actual gay hockey player, hit me up!
Ok, I'm finally ready to announce this: I'm writing a book! It's a gay hockey romance book, set in the actual gay hockey world. I have no publisher or anything, so any help will be appreciated. But I'm making good progress and I'm very excited. #BookSky #AuthorSky

And they still charge the same for tickets even though you get like 3 matches a day now. Last year, I had tickets for the Montreal finals, but they moved the doubles final to Wednesday afternoon so Coco could get to Cincy on time. Who could have see that problem coming?
A single-tour tournament taking 10-11 days makes zero sense.
My heart? Happy My cup? Full My taste? Great. 11 years of Great Tastes with my love, @rewhoo.bsky.social
There are 6,000 people here. I've seen 3 under 30 and 2 other homos. If I ever find an f-slur under 30, I'm drinking a whole keg.
They're also full of middle aged men. When we started going to these 15 years ago, we were the youngest people there. Now, we're still the youngest people there. Gonna make a drinking game whenever I see a homo or someone under 30
I guess there's never any other gays at this because it's always the same weekend as Market Days.
Today is the Great Taste of The . Midwest, one of the best beer festivals in the world. I gotta plan a very gay outfit, because these beer festivals have become incredibly hetero over the years.

Holy crap, this book was so good. It's a gay YA Romance, with a mix of Hadestown, and a lot of wisdom.
Am supposed to be in a work meeting right now, but the speaker introduced the first topic as "Reviewing all the AI tools we should be using as managers," and I've never ended a work call faster. I'm not listening to that shit.
We've got squirrels running around in our attic, making our house sound haunted at night. We called a pest control company and they said it would cost $2,000 to fix a gap in our roof. I'll just live in haunted house, thank you.
I've lived in such a bubble of amazing queer bookshops that I kinda forgot straight ones even existed.
There's a huge bookstore near my hotel in NYC. But it was almost entirely nonfiction. They had a very tiny romance section, and just one little shelf of queer romance. It feels like it's catering to finance bros. So disappointing. I need to find some good queer spots tomorrow.

This was just pure joy. And now I'm so sad it's closing this week. But André De Shields is such a treasure, and I feel so grateful to have seen him in this and Hadestown.
It's time!
First Flavio, now Carlos. They must be stopped. Is this just something that happens to your brain when you travel the world for work? Why is it so prevalent in tennis?
need a prediction market but only for Carlos Alcaraz hairstyles
The Lynx deserve to win three WNBA titles this year alone.

The fact that I have to wake up at 4 AM tomorrow is casting a dark shadow over my entire Sunday. However, it does mean I'll get to NYC in time to see the Jellicle Ball tomorrow night. I'm so excited. My flight better be on time.
Motherfucker. I've worked so hard on these apple trees this year.
RLRT: I think Cheryl Reeve has been an incredible champion of rights and protections for minority groups throughout her career (and I'm assuming life) but the "safe space for all opinions" really isn't it when one opinion is "all are welcome" and the other is "eliminate this group of people."
This is why I don't like the phrase "Everyone watches women's sports." Really, everyone? Many people suck and I don't want them watching women's sports. Go away and go back to your awful men's sports.
We already have a shitty, exclusionary place in sports: it's called men's sports. They built it like that on purpose. Let them own it and figure that out for themselves. Women's sports were built in opposition to that structure, built for inclusion. The WNBA has represented the best of that.
My July books. Some MM Romance, some gay mysteries, and a book about a queer mountain lion!
My very queer June reads.
Chicagoans Over 25 Urged To Shelter In Place Until Lollapalooza Over
Can't believe my niece is old enough to do college visits. We're touring UW Madison today! I'm very eager to see how this process has changed 20 years after I went through it.
Minneapolis, I know we've asked way too much of you this year, and you've done well more than your share. But it's time to once again step up and shut this shit down.
The Indiana Fever play tomorrow in Portland and Sunday in Minnesota. There are "Support Sophie Cunningham" transphobic rallies planned for both cities. Fuck all the way off. #WNBA
