And they still charge the same for tickets even though you get like 3 matches a day now. Last year, I had tickets for the Montreal finals, but they moved the doubles final to Wednesday afternoon so Coco could get to Cincy on time. Who could have see that problem coming?

I guess there's never any other gays at this because it's always the same weekend as Market Days.

Holy crap, this book was so good. It's a gay YA Romance, with a mix of Hadestown, and a lot of wisdom.
Am supposed to be in a work meeting right now, but the speaker introduced the first topic as "Reviewing all the AI tools we should be using as managers," and I've never ended a work call faster. I'm not listening to that shit.
We've got squirrels running around in our attic, making our house sound haunted at night. We called a pest control company and they said it would cost $2,000 to fix a gap in our roof. I'll just live in haunted house, thank you.
I've lived in such a bubble of amazing queer bookshops that I kinda forgot straight ones even existed.

They had a very tiny romance section, and just one little shelf of queer romance. It feels like it's catering to finance bros. So disappointing. I need to find some good queer spots tomorrow.

This was just pure joy. And now I'm so sad it's closing this week. But André De Shields is such a treasure, and I feel so grateful to have seen him in this and Hadestown.

RLRT: I think Cheryl Reeve has been an incredible champion of rights and protections for minority groups throughout her career (and I'm assuming life) but the "safe space for all opinions" really isn't it when one opinion is "all are welcome" and the other is "eliminate this group of people."
This is why I don't like the phrase "Everyone watches women's sports." Really, everyone? Many people suck and I don't want them watching women's sports. Go away and go back to your awful men's sports.

Let them own it and figure that out for themselves. Women's sports were built in opposition to that structure, built for inclusion. The WNBA has represented the best of that.
