Got a simple but nice response from a developer to a review I made on Google Play. I know it was mostly just repeating that they were glad I liked the type of gameplay and the graphics, but the fact they did use my specific wording for them felt kinda nice!

Me: Why do I have like zero energy today? Brain: Maybe because you haven't fed me our usual morning caffeine chew? Me: ... Why did it take you three hours to remind me? Brain: Because I'm *tired*. Yes, I actually had this internal monologue.

Reminder: You can like me on social media but not be thrilled with my books. You can like my books but be annoyed with me on social media. You can like both! Or neither! Or alternately be absolutely indifferent toward me in every possible way! It's fine. It's all fine.

Wait, racists are calling themselves "race realists" now? They didn't clock that just makes them sound even more racist? Well, I suppose not, they're racists, after all.

Someone: Medicine isn't candy. Me: Tell that to the makers of my caffeine chews that are basically just minty matcha taffy, or the makers of my really yummy lemon flavored vitamin that's meant to be left to dissolve under the tongue like a pill shaped sucking candy.

Reminder: 1. You don't need to have an opinion on everything, especially stuff you don't know enough about 2. You don't need to have a PUBLIC opinion on everything 3. It's okay to focus on one or two things and let others take up the slack elsewhere 4. It's okay to take a break when overwhelmed.
