Just some random vato in Sandy Eggo named Sordan Jnodgrass. Skeptic. Skeptical of skeptics. Skeptical of skeptics who are skeptical of skeptics. #BanCars I make dumb music sometimes too: https://www.thesnodgrass.com

Chuds could have their own bubble here too if they want. But they don't, because what they want is to force their garbage takes in everyone else's face.

a "public square" is what we all saw outside of comic-con last weekend, which is one dude with a "the blood of jesus cleanses sin" sign and another dude with a "jesus is coming on your mom's face" sign and that's exactly what all of these websites are, always have been, and always will be

Sorry to harp on this, but these CEOs keep bringing up the idea of a "public square" and I don't think they've ever been to a public square. I don't have the right to talk to anyone in a real-life public square! People get to tell me to go away.

Bluesky is a "liberal bubble" because fascist chuds can't get traction without algorithmic assistance and because people here trained themselves to block "debate me" trybois the instant they roll up

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

The first picture is Larry biting the police dog yesterday. The second is him menacing another police dog today. I am told he followed this dog down the street, hid under a car, and pounced on him.

the thing about the “Idaho stop” discourse that car brains don’t realize is that if it didn’t exist and cyclists stopped at all stop signs CAR DRIVERS WOULD STILL BE MAD because it takes a cyclists longer to get through an intersection so the car would have to wait 10 seconds instead of 3

you’ve heard of the “goat trick” on thunder mountain but have you heard of the “sit in the back row and look backwards the entire ride as the tracks move away from you” trick on thunder mountain?

"Solar panels produced 51% of California’s electricity in May, the first time the clean energy source surpassed the halfway mark for an entire month." California was mostly solar-powered in May — a global first

No major economy had previously received over half its electricity from solar across an entire month. Thank the mild, sunny spring weather, and batteries.

it’s such a convenient excuse because on the surface your average person is like “surely it can’t be because of inflation or the wider economy or people aren’t interested in that product anymore or the large empty parking lot right in front of the store it must be the bike lanes! simple!!”

similar to the phenomenon where agents tell their clients with dead careers that they lost out on jobs due to affirmative action, i think there's a lot of dead/dying businesses that are happy to use the bike lanes as a cope to avoid facing their real problems
