She has now been sleeping with her body pressed against my torso, every night for the past 3 weeks. The trust building transition is nearly complete. She's so goddam sweet. Isn't it funny how they just "decide" to claim you one day and never go back?

I don't have time to write more, but ICE is working to remove people to third countries in violation of D.V.D. v. DHS. I've been up since 5:20 A.M. working with two other attorneys to prevent our client from being shipped out. If you rep someone at risk of third country removal, check on them NOW
Gillian Brockell@gillianbrockell.com · 3w agoBREAKING: The plane appearing to have been scheduled to fly third-country nationals to 3 African countries today—before an appeals court prohibited it last night—has taken off, landed at Gitmo (Somalis in ICE camp there) and is now in San Juan, a common refueling stop for ICE flights to Africa.
