I will note that I wasn't allowed to see Gregg Araki movies, but I was ABSOLUTELY allowed to rent "Boys Don't Cry," and between those two things, I'm lucky I didn't delay transition until my ninety-seventh birthday

Trans film and arts critics have also done okay and for the most part trans columnists in apolitical "lifestyle" content seem to have been less affected. It's capital N News coverage and Political Comment journalism where trans people were purged most rigourously.

I seem unusual among UK trans journalists in that I have a regular publication. That's because I write about tech, if I wrote about politics or trans stuff I would be excluded like all the other trans voices. A whole generation of very bright talent, extinguished. Editors should be ashamed.

You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
