Haven't yet started watching The Vampire Lestat, but 40 years ago, after looking for Interview for a couple of years I went into Cardiff one Saturday, and there they both were as Interview had a second edition pressed at the same time. Anyway, these are 36 years old. I keep them out of sunlight.

Made two tracks at polar ends of activity today. One is at about 40 bpm (mogadon dub), the other at about 4000bpm (extreme computer). Neither of them have any hint of dynamic range. I love them equally. At some point I'll revisit the source material of the extreme computer one to let the quiet out.

But I'm Not is my favourite on this. This is my favourite Cocteau's LP by a mile, and just misses out on being one of my top 5 favourite records. Probably 6. Maybe 7.

First heard Cobalt Blue when I borrowed it from the Music Library on George IV Bridge at some point mid-90s. Do have it on CD, but realised I also have it on MD in my office, paired with Dead Can Dance's Into The Labyrinth.

Hard to pick a favourite on this, so I'll tell you about the time I confronted a burglar listening to this. Was waiting for my turn in a phonebox. Heard a window smash in a basement flat. Investigated. A man straddling a window with a CRT tv. I shouted "Put that back" (?). He dropped tv and ran off.
